JailBreak Prevails!

This news is old but it's still a breath taking to say that last July, 26, 2010 the US Government has legalized software jailbreaking and unlocking, finally bringing the Americans on par with their oversea counterparts who’ve always been able to legally escape clutches of their phone makers and carriers. Meaning everyone will be able to run sanctioned apps on their iDevices or use the phone with another carrier.

It’s one of a “handful of new exemptions” from a 1998 federal law put in place basically in order to protect access to copyrighted works, the news gathering organization explained:
Owners of the iPhone will be able to break electronic locks on their devices in order to download applications that have not been approved by Apple. The government is making that legal under new rules announced.
Au contraire, running third-party apps that crack a phone’s baseband software is no longer a big no-no. This means anyone can now unlock their phone and switch carriers. Even more interesting, other exemptions allow cracking technical protections on video games to “investigate or correct security flaws” and bypassing security dongles if ones breaks and can’t be replaced.
But it doesn't stop there: Now it's perfectly legal to crack those dreaded DVD copy-protection schemes in order to rip the clips and use them for education, criticism, commentary, and noncommercial videos, but sadly it's only limited to college professors, film students, and documentary filmmakers.

Want your iPod Touch turn into an iPhone.

I recently found out that Apple's iPod Touch owners (such as myself) could get cellular features on it, which by the way it's awesome for those who wants to turn their iPod Touch into an iPhone.

a Chinese company called Yosion Technology, has developed the Apple Peel 520, which is a protective case with cellular enabler making the iPod Touch have call function and it's available online for about $57 USD  (Estimated around $445 HKD) with a one-year warranty.

According to Chinese magazine PConline, the accessory fixes onto the iPod Touch and comes with a dock connector; built-in 800mAh battery (rated for 4.5 hours of talk time and five days on standby); and SIM card slot. It will only work with a jailbroken iPod Touch as the Yosion and YsSMS apps have to be installed for calling and messaging, and these will be able to run in the background. The Peel 520 will initially launch with a silicone rubber case, but a plastic version can be expected in the future.

Note, that the Peel 520 doesn't turn the iPod Touch into a "full-fledged phone", and also stated that there's no auto screen lock when the handset is next to the ear and no caller name/number display. Bluetooth and hands-free calling weren't available during the hands-on test of the prototype, but these will reportedly be supported in the retail version of the Peel 520. According to initial tests, the reviewer didn't experience any dropped calls, although there was noticeable lag before the iPod Touch registered an incoming call.

No Photoshop needed just a Llama.

This proves that you don't need Photoshop to do this. How creative!

Wolverine's extra claw

Wolverine from the Uncanny X-Men show his "Other" claw inappropriately. I think he needs to go take a leak or something.

Windows 7 Loader 2.09

This is the loader which is created by Daz will let you bypass Microsoft’s WAT (Windows Activation Technologies) and it's the safest Windows activation exploit out there. This is the loader application will let you bypass Microsoft’s WAT (Windows Activation Technologies) and it's the safest Windows activation exploit out there.

This injects a SLIC (System Licensed Internal Code) into your system before Windows boots, thus
fooling the OS (Operating System) into thinking it’s genuine.

What makes this different from every other loader out at the moment?
It’s not a batch file and all commands are made within the application, it has great error handling and doesn’t try to find the active partition based on size (which every other loader is doing at the moment).

Features

*Can be run as a standalone application.
*Works well with all system languages.
*Custom OEM information can be installed.
*Can be used for pre-activation.
*Application integrity checking.
*Custom error handling.
*Support for hidden partitions and complex setups.
*Can work alongside Linux’s GRUB or any other boot manager.
*Works with TrueCrypt and many other types of hard drive encryption applications.
*Add your own certificates and serials externally.
*Offers certificate and serial installation only for users with an existing SLIC 2.1.

Celebrity Spouse Switcharooni

I know I'm so late with this one but it's awkward, I gotta post it. Shania Twaina a Canadian country pop singer the one who composed her album "Come On Over"  which was the best-selling album of all time by a female musician in any genre, and the best-selling country album of all time.

Shania married music producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange back on 1993, and had a son together name Eja (pronounced "Asia") D'Angelo. On May 2008 a spokesperson from Mercury Nashville announced that the couple were separating after Robert had an affair with Twain's best friend, Marie-Anne Thiebaud and finalized their divorce on June 2010, but it's just getting better on December 2010, Twain's manager confirmed that Twain was engaged to Swiss business executive Frederic Thiebaud, who happens to be the ex-husband of Marie-Anne Thiebaud. The two tied the knot on January 1, 2011 in Rincón Puerto Rico, what a way to celebrate the new year with that.

My thoughts about this: malicious and creepy cause it's her friend's ex-husband who she walked down the aisle with, and is this some sort of payback just to get even with her, why swap?  There's plenty of guys who's itching to have her, lets take George Clooney as an example, so he would drop the sexy Italian bombshell model Elisabetta Canalis. Just thinking out loud.
I think she's still hot even at her 40s.I mean C'mon google her up and check her recent pics, she still got that vicious sex appeal going on. I don't get why Robert have to cheated on her and the one he picked looks like a hag, is it because their marriage was falling apart or got tired of her, so he replaced her with a 36th month Iberico ham. Just saying.
Compare the two =================>
Who looks hotter Shania or Mary-Anne you decide.
Shania got my vote. that's for sure. but still creeped out for marrying Mary-Anne's ex.

From the begin to the end: Steve Jobs R.I.P.

Last week the former Apple CEO Steve Jobs passed away Wednesday night at the age of 56, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. A day after Tim Cook the newly appointed CEO of Apple announced the new and improved iPhone 4S. Twitter was overwhelmed with so many tweets causing a massive triffic on there servers and stating "Please wait a moment and try again" several times overnight. Jobs's name was tweeted about 4.5 million times in less than 24 hours including celebrities like Katie Couric, Jane Lynch, and Arnold Schwarzenegger to pay their respects on the person that revolutionize how computers are integrated with our everyday lives. Jobs was thanked for creating an impact to people by giving their first iMac and iPhone, and changing how people consume media that he inspired, which is something that is unique to his legacy.

How it all began

Steve Jobs with Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne discovered Apple in 1976. In 1984, the company introduced the Macintosh 128K, the first mainstream computer that abandoned text-only commands in exchange of a graphical user interface (GUI) for short. Together with the invention of the mouse, a device which is so crucial to modern computing that it hasn't changed in nearly three decades unless if you're of those gamer who wants to go hardcore and purchase a mouse with a few more extra functional buttons.

In 1986 Jobs adapted a small division of film studio in Lucasfilm, he then renamed this computer animation company to what it's been known today "Pixar". Job's team created an expensive computer imaging technology and negotiated a deal with Disney to produce full-length animation movies. After a string of record-breaking films, he sold the company to Disney for approximately $7.4 billion.

Return to Apple
When Jobs returned to Apple, the company was in chaos. Competing manufacturers held Apple software licenses and were making clones of the company's hardware, Jobs immediately ceased the project and brought all Apple development back on track.

From there he launch of the iMac and iBook, two of the most iconic Apple products in the company's history. Apple's hardware began to give the company an edgy appeal, and consumers ate it up. Apple's stock seemed to have no ceiling, as each new product brought new customers into the company's dedicated fan base.

The iPod took the world by storm
Apple launched the iPod in 2001,  which completely revolutionized the way we listen to music. The iPod generation is by far the most popular of them all with ongoing production of iPod Touch currently on its 4th generation, and with iTunes purchasing songs online made listening to music so affordable and easy.

The birth of a new era the iPhone
In 2007 Jobs created a smartphone that was far unique than what most people have seen, so he launched what's unarguably the best-selling Apple product to date, the iPhone. A device that got a lukewarm reception and it's hard to imagine a world without it cause it took
one giant leap to the smartphone scenes in a
positive prospective that changes how we interact with phones today.

The evolution of the tablets the iPad
When the iPhone solidify its position on the market. Jobs once again took a step further by introducing a tablet that didn't try to be a computer the iPad which was release on April 2010. Its size and weight fall between those of contemporary smartphones and laptop computers, and can run its own applications as well as iPhone applications.

Both the iPhone and iPad product lines have seen massive success and after 4 versions of Apple's smartphone and two iPads, the company is the most valuable brand name in consumer electronics hearts.

Life threat & Decision
Jobs announced he was confined with pancreatic cancer to the public in 2004. He went through various treatments, Jobs continued to perform his duties at Apple, promising only to step down when he felt the time was right. A few months ago, on August 24, Steve Jobs officially resigned from his post as CEO.

We'll always remember
Steve Jobs, the iconic man behind Apple for so many years, the person who made advancing technology his life's innovation and putted determination to the company's products. His perseverance will live on with every iPod, iPhone, Mac, and iPad that indulgences us around the globe. The apple that allured Eve, to the apple struck Newton's profound discovery and the Apple saw the future and led us with there ingenious gadgets by Steve Jobs.

New iPhone = iDisappoint

Yesterday they were unveiling the new iPhone in San Francisco by Apple Inc's new chief executive Tim Cook, who replaced ailing icon Steve Jobs and I was shock to find out that an updated model iPhone 4S, which I believe Apple dialed a wrong number who were eagerly waiting iPhone 5 such as myself. No pun intended. XP

Apple fans worldwide, including us in Hong Kong, groaned in disappointment to think buying a lot of merchandise from the first Apple store in Hong Kong "claiming it sold more Macs on its opening day than any other Apple store in the world, Cook said", would bring us one step closer to the most anticipated smartphone of 2011 the iPhone 5, but all we got is a built-in talking assistant, dual-core A5 processor, 8 megapixel camera, 1080p HD recording with temporal noise reduction and in the end it's the same old iPhone 4 with a capital S on it.  It' will be available in 16, 32 or 64gb, I guess there's no 8gb cause it's too small nowadays unless it's purely for calling and texting which redundant, you can purchase a cheaper phone with that kind of usage.  A lot of people say iPhone is always a success. Now this time it is a failure, Such a disappointment.

More info about the built-in talking assistant. It's called Siri, it combines voice activation and artificial intelligence, allowing users to ask their smartphone questions such as the time, weather and can even make a phone call and reply to text messages. The smartphone's starting price of US$199 (HK$1,552) for a 16-gigabyte model in the United States could be its biggest come-on. Apple has yet to announce the Hong Kong price. The iPhone 4S will be officially available in Hong Kong by the end of next month and I also read that 16GB model at HK$15,000 each and the 64GB model at HK$25,000 man that's hefty price. Anyway some people are already accepting pre-orders of iPhone 4S on auction site eBay, selling 64GB models at about US$770(HK$6,005).
